Ulug‘bek Polvonov

Ulug‘bek Polvonov was born on January 1, 1974, in the Khorezm region. He has achieved victory at international piano competitions. He was awarded the Grand Prix at an international piano competition held in Georgia.

U. Polvonov is considered a winner and laureate of several international piano competitions. He began participating in international competitions while studying at the Tashkent State Conservatory, and he has demonstrated his high level of skill in countries including Germany, Italy, Portugal, Israel, the USA, and CIS nations.

Ulug‘bek is considered one of the pioneering graduates of the Republican Specialized Academic Music Lyceum named after V. Uspensky. He studied in the piano class under the famous pedagogue Tamara Afanasyevna Popovich alongside several other talented individuals.

He emphasizes the high contribution of the German music school to his creative development. The Uzbek pianist learned the secrets of music for many years from the famous music expert Klaus Hellwig at the Berlin University of the Arts; currently, he is also being mentored by Klaus Bassler.

At an international piano competition held in Porto, Portugal, young musician Ulug‘bek Polvonov won third place for his masterful performance of works by Bach and Chopin.

On January 28, 2009, Ulug‘bek Polvonov gave a concert at the historic Gendarmenmarkt Concert Hall in the center of Berlin.
